Jeremiyah Love Scouting Report

Jeremiyah Love entered 2025 as the de facto RB1 of the class and finishes it there. He’s a high-octane, versatile playmaker who combines elite backfield vision with the receiving polish of a modern “offensive weapon.”

Tape Scouting Report

He’s a proficient gap runner, but could stand more reps and tape where he follows leaders. Love has excellent vision, patience and spatial sense as a zone runner, and fits incredibly well in the NFL, where this is critical. Love’s game is built on a foundation of patience and high-level processing. He displays an advanced internal clock, often “easy jogging” behind the LOS to allow blocks to manifest before hitting the hole. His transition from receiver to ball-carrier is exceptionally fluid, making him a lethal threat in the screen game and out of the slot. While he is a willing participant in pass protection, his framing and anchor in blitz pickup remain his primary areas for technical growth. He has terrific upside as a receiver out of the backfield, showing the hands and awareness to excel at the NFL level, where running backs are a bigger part of your passing unit.

Athletic Scouting Report

Love possesses “scholarship bounce”—a rare combination of balance, transitional twitch, and sustained top-end speed. Unlike some purely explosive backs, Love maintains a relentless “pedaling” motor through contact, using a low center of gravity to churn out extra yardage. While scouts will monitor his official weight, his frame handles the rigors of a heavy workload without sacrificing the explosive “fireworks” that define his open-field runs. Love runs harder than his frame might be able to handle, and that is the only real knock to watch. Because he is physically excellent for the position all-around, with the ability to change direction, breaks tackles, stay on his feet, and run past most defenders.

Draft Stock Report

Despite the traditional devaluation of the position, Jeremiyah Love is a real Blue Chip talent in our books. His ability to impact the game as both a zone/gap runner and a split-out receiver gives him top-10 overall grade potential in a modern offense. While individual GM philosophies on positional value vary, his tape is undeniable; Love projects as a cornerstone offensive engine and a Day 1 NFL starter.
