Prospects are not numbers until they are assigned one in the NFL. Cutcall breaks its prospect ranking into chip values that are color coded. So each group represents a cohort of players who have a good value in that range of the board. The system also recognizes that player value or position value vary from team to team and year to year, and might affect their final drafted position.
